"Sylvenstein" zeigt ein Koordinationsproblem: während ich mit einer Hand sehr schnell eine Papierklappe vor dem Bild einer Landschaft bewege und dadurch quasi einen manuellen Shutter erzeuge versuche ich gleichzeitig mit der anderen Hand die Kamera so ruhig wie möglich zu halten. Das Resultat ähnelt dem Effekt, der eintritt, wenn ein analoger Filmprojektor defekt ist und den Film nicht richtig transportiert. Es handelt sich im gleichen Maße um die Präsentation einer Landschaft wie um die Verhinderung der Präsentation.

In "Sylvenstein" I moved a shutter made of paper very quickly. The shutter hides a part of a picture of a landscape. With the other hand I hold the camera as calm as possible - a problem of coordinating the body. The video illuminates the projection room with a flickering light like a stroboscope. The effect is close to what happens when an analog filmprojector is damaged. It is the presentation of a landscape and the counteraction to that presentation.
